About this Job Opportunity:

The Reporting and Communications Specialist supports Compliance Resource Center's Sanction Screening and Compliance Hotline service lines.

The Reporting and Communications Specialist's sanction screening duties include screening individuals and businesses against federal and state databases, investigating and validating results, and writing resulting reports. Additionally, the Reporting and Communications Specialist receives hotline calls from both English and Spanish speaking individuals and completes the corresponding reports that are issued to clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Download files submitted by clients and screen, match and investigate the files
  • Draft, edit and provide quality assurance on reports for clients
  • Receive hotline calls (in English and Spanish) and complete the corresponding reports (in English only)
  • Provide client support, demos and training for the reporting system

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of bilingual Customer Service or Call Center experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional 2007/2010 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Word)
  • Strong English writing and editing skills.
  • Conversational fluency in Spanish and ability to accurately translate in-coming hotline calls from Spanish-speaking callers.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and type. Work performed is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing, walking, bending, and reaching. The work occasionally involves working under pressure to balance multiple tasks and manage deadlines. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
