About this Career Opportunity:

The Business Development & Account Management Associate operates in a consultative, inside sales capacity. The core responsibility of this role is to respond to business leads for Compliance Resource Center and promote its products and professional services.

This is a full-time position located at CRC's headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia and offers a base annual salary plus commission. 

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for a dynamic sales professional to join our growing team. 

Qualified candidates are able to:

  • Prepare verbal and written material about CRC's tools and services in a manner that effectively articulates the value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Learn about the needs of prospective clients, determine the best product solution for them, and educate them on CRC's product lines, services and key features.
  • Track progress of open sales leads, calculate conversion rates and maintain CRM.
  • Conduct online demonstrations of CRC tools for prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans for industry conferences, webinars and email marketing to generate leads and capture sales.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales. 
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to prospective clients via telephone. No cold calling is required.
  • Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously gaining new clients and meeting or exceeding defined sales goals.
  • Keep abreast of our competitors' services.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Able to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Able to quickly learn about the tools and services offered by CRC.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional sales work and/or internship experience.
  • Experience with MailChimp, LinkedIn, WordPress, and/or CRM is a plus.
  • Experience working in healthcare is a plus.
